“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.” ~C.S. Lewis
My dad instilled in me a love of photography. At the age of nine, he gave me my first
camera, the Kodak Instamatic 101. I ran around snapping endless photos and documenting life through my young eyes. Several years and a few cameras later, I graduated from high school and received my first SLR camera, the Pentax K1000. Little did I know at the time, this very same camera would help me to realize my dream.
In the fall of 2010, this 40-something stay-at-home mom with children ready to fly the nest made the decision to return to college. Armed with my Pentax K1000, a few lenses and numerous roles of Kodak T-Max film, I embarked on a journey to pursue my life-long passion in family photography.
Four years and countless hours in darkrooms and digital photo labs later, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree from Fitchburg State University with a concentration in photography and a minor in art. What started as a dream has finally turned into a reality as I launched my business, Images by Holly Ann in April of 2016.
I invite you to follow me as I share my work, insight and passion in all things photography related.
